Trinity Rowing has a long and successful history, with both Dublin University Boat Club (DUBC), and Dublin University Ladies Boat Club (DULBC) respected and recognised internationally. The 2015-2018 strategy for sport established the foundations of a student sport pathway, with participation, education, and performance sport structures being implemented. Rowing, as one of four focus sports continues to grow under this model, with a collective plan in place and an emerging staff infrastructure. This position is key and will further establish a foundation for attracting and supporting toplevel student rowers in the future. Reporting directly to the Chief Rowing Coach (DUBC), this position will provide coaching, development, and logistical support as required in operating the full DUBC rowing program. The main emphasis of the role will be to provide coaching, operational and administrative support across the full DUBC rowing programme as directed by the Chief Rowing Coach. The post holder will also be heavily involved in athlete recruitment, community engagement, and club development and education working with colleagues within the sports development unit and the club.
